Within 6 months, the TT implementation team developed an integration interface and built a medical data warehouse integrated with the CliniNet system implemented at the NIO at that time.

The warehouse has also become the basis for other tools implemented as part of the ONKO.SYS project. During the implementation, over 800,000 patient files with full medical information covering a period of over 20 years were migrated to the warehouse.

In addition, TT provided a graphical interface for the wholesaler in the form of the MedStream Designer platform and provided training for the required NIO employees.

The aim of the entire ONKO.SYS project was to implement IT tools that will contribute to the growth of the scientific and research potential in the field of cancer and to enable modern research with the use of information society technologies.

The implementation of MedStream Designer was in line with one of the specific objectives of the project, i.e. creating a modern integrated platform for providing advanced information and analytical services for research and scientific purposes, which will be made available to both Polish and foreign scientific and research units.

The MedStream Designer platform implemented in NIO is still functioning today, in the meantime the scope of information collected in the warehouse has been significantly increased above the original requirements of the ONKO.SYS project.
