Symptomo
Remote patient monitoring

A telemedicine tool for remote monitoring of changes in the patient treatment process according to the criteria prepared by the attending physician.

SYMPTOMO is a platform for remote patient monitoring. early detection of the first symptoms of adverse events in the treatment process.

It contains a built-in module of questionnaires for patients according to the PRO-CTCAE ™ standard (Patient-Reported Outcomes version of the Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events) recommended by the National Cancer Institute in the United States.

In addition to the built-in questionnaire module according to the PRO-CTCAE ™ standard, the SYMPTOMO application has an additional module that allows the attending physician to freely prepare a database of questions for the questionnaire that he sends to the patient.

When defining the questions, the doctor can decide whether it is required or optional, he can also freely prepare answer variants (as date, range, text, number, Yes / No answer, any other answer variants).

In the next step, the patient receives on his e-mail and / or telephone information about the login and password to the portal along with his address on the web, along with a request to log in and complete the questionnaire. Surveys can be one-time, periodic or sent on request, including by the patient himself.

The system allows for the definition of any number of survey schemes, their sending schedule to the patient and the defined logic of events that result in sending an alert to the doctor in charge of a given patient.

As part of the summary, the physician receives a collective screen for each patient with a summary of the responses from each questionnaire completed by the patient.

For this purpose, it can also use the so-called a heatmap which shows whether the patient migrates more towards green in a given area (his state of well-being improves) or whether there are areas that are “turning red” more and more each day (the patient’s condition deteriorates) and, for example, it is necessary to call the patient to visit.

SYMPTOMO allows to significantly reduce the number of patients’ visits to the treatment center, which in the time of the COVID-19 pandemic seems to be of significant importance.
